Thank You All For the Successful Retreat in 2007
Thank you to those who attended the 2007 edition of the Euro-American Family Retreat. Rothenburg provided us with excellent facilities as well as a charming physical environment for our gathering. However, your presence contributed to the spiritual feast that took place 17-21 November. The attendees from fourteen nations at this year’s retreat realized a harmony that only the Spirit of God can create. So thank you for attending – and may we thank the Lord for His kindness in expressing His presence with us while we were in Rothenburg together.
Special appreciation A debt of gratitude is owed to the teachers of the children’s classes; Linda McCrary, Tamara Brantley, Rachel Baker and Michelle Lewis. The commitment that Hawathia Jones and Byron Benitez have each year to nurturing the teenagers was matched again at this retreat. We were blessed by the insight of our keynote speakers, Mark Woodward, Tony Coffey, Dale Hawley and Hawathia Jones. And our hearts were filled as we praised our God in song and in prayer, especially during our morning devotionals. Also a special word of appreciation goes to Wayne Henry and his gift in taking care of the registration and countless other administrative details that help make the retreat a pleasure. We would be quite negligent not to mention the staff of the Hotel Rappen in Rothenburg. Every need was anticipated and addressed during our stay in their lovely hotel. We look forward to continuing our relationship with this hotel and its very capable staff. |
